Creative outdoors built a 6ft high versalock retaining wall in my rear yard to extend it, they did a professional job with the backfill and matting to secure the retention and was done in a very short period of time at a reasonable cost, we are very happy with the outcome and the additional room we gained in the yard, I have known David and his crew for many years and would definitely recommend his services, they know how to do things correctly with no shortcuts.

Pavers installed, replacing our cracked concrete driveway, plus the same on our front porch, plus adding a handrail to some steps that ran down a short but steep slope. We're very happy with the outcome. Surprisingly fast from start to finish. Many compliments from the neighbors.

Creative Outdoors is a fantastic company, in every way. Prior to calling them, we tried to call 3 other companies; either they just didn't show up, or never called back after the initial consult.

Not only did David call back, he continued to come back, and oversee the project every step of the way. He asked questions, listened to our feedback, and gave expert advice when we didn't know what to do. He's truly a craftsman, with a good eye for backyard and landscape planning. He also has a lot of knowledge about plants, where they live, what grows well, etc. And the crew is extremely professional and does a great job.

The more amazing part is - this company does it ALL! Hardscaping, landscaping, tree cutting & removal, transplanting trees, turf, etc - and they do it ALL, and they do it WELL! My neighbors were shocked to find out the SAME company, did all the different areas around our house - they said they've needed 3-4 different companies to do the different jobs.
And our fig-trees are thriving after transplant, so they know what they are doing!

We are so happy with our new backyard, side yard, front yard - it's even better than we expected! I highly recommend Creative Outdoors!

Creative Outdoors is the best there is! David and team know what they're doing and have so much experience in ideating, planning and executing on building out creative outdoor spaces. They are reliable and will get the job done within the timeframe you discussed, or manage your expectations accordingly. We have been working with different contractors for our remodeling project and these guys inspire confidence and trust. They communicate well and have a lot of integrity in the work they are delivering. If you feel your project might be a little tricky to figure out, they are definitely the ones to go to.
With all that said, we were also working with a limited budget for our new backyard yet they still figured out something amazing for it (see photo!). So if you want something amazing for your outdoor space too, don't hesitate to reach out and discuss details with them!

From the very beginning, David impressed me with his ability to take my vision and turn it into something truly special. My outdoor space wouldn't be the same without his expertise and creativity.

What truly sets David apart is his ability to collaborate. He can take your high-level input and use his incredible design sense to ideate and build something beautiful. This meant I could immediately trust him to take the reins without me needing to prescribe every detail. His experience and knowledge were invaluable, and it was clear he knew exactly how to do things the right way.

We had a large project with multiple contractors and David stood out. Unlike others who required constant oversight, David kept the project moving forward efficiently and required minimal management on my end. This was a huge plus, allowing me to focus on other things while he worked his magic.

It's also worth noting that David specializes in paver work. He used his expertise to create a stunning patio that seamlessly ties into my pool, along with beautiful new pathways and a driveway. The final result is a cohesive and elegant outdoor space that complements my home perfectly.

On top of his design skills and work ethic, David offers reasonable pricing and is incredibly easy to communicate with. He was always available to answer questions and kept me informed throughout the entire project.

15 years ago Dave did our landscaping and that's when we met Cody as young boy. Now we are very pleased to have reconnected with Creative Outdoors and to have Cody taking care of our landscaping as a young man. Wonderful to have him back on board. He saved our pine trees, sent Mr. Gopher to the Gopher farm and again saved our plants from a sure death. We tease Cody about telling his Father if things his Dad did go south. Creative Outdoors is a honorable company to do business with. Love to see my garden when we return every few months. Must say, we had other companies come in and nothing like Creative Outdoors. I can rest knowing things will be taken care of when we are gone. Pleasant to work with and Cody stays in touch with us while we are back in Colorado. Might be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. The original garden and landscape looks just as good as when it first done. Highly recommend their services couldn't be happier. Lost track of them several years ago but i am delighted we found them again and so very pleased.

Honestly there aren't enough adjectives to describe his promptness, professionalism, and follow through. Ditto for Kristen in the office. Onto the crew. Always polite, knowledgeable & hard working. The work was extensive with a large curved paver installed driveway, followed by complete landscaping from irrigation, tree planting, staking, protection, loads of plants and boulder staging. We knew we needed to replace our steep and large, 4,500 sq ft concrete driveway and court yard. We wanted pavers but thought the cost would be prohibitive. We got estimates for Rubber Stone, Concrete and Pavers. We were surprised that the cost for pavers was less than 20% over concrete. We hired Creative Outdoors to do the paving and we are GLAD WE DID!! They started the job right on time, finished in less than 10 days and within their cost estimate. Our driveway looks beautiful!! Neighbors and passers by comment on the great look. We had 'Snow Melt' (electric heating coils) installed under the pavers and we are now waiting for snow!! Can you imagine no shoveling? Creative Outdoors is a great company. Their workers are polite, professional and clean not just in their work but also in their conduct. Not once in ten days did I hear foul language and I was present all the time they worked. We are happy we chose Creative Outdoors and highly recommend this firm.

The job that Creative did for us was marvelous. Work was completed ahead of schedule and was on budget. We added 300 square ft of pavers and they matched the existing pavers perfectly. Our yard now looks fantastic and the hot tub addition looks great. The team worked very hard and fast even during the heat wave. When they were done, they cleaned up the site perfectly as well, not a trace of the construction left. I would use Creative again and fully recommend them.

Everything went great. David and Kristen were just wonderful to work with. We do not live at the property at this time, and they went out of their way to accommodate our schedule to make sure the work was done while we could be there. Creative Outdoors did the complete landscaping of our back yard and installed a paver walkway around the side of the house to the front. They put in a large paver patio and a circular area for a fire pit. They created an extensive raised planter area behind a beautiful stone wall. A nice area of artificial grass will keep our dog happy. Trees, bushes, a drip irrigation system, and low maintenance decorative rock completed the job. We selected Creative Outdoors out of eleven proposals we had for the job.

Their proposal was clear and complete and considering the award winning work David has done in the past, we had the most confidence that they would do a good job for us. Our job took longer than we expected, partially due to weather conditions and partially (in my opinion) because of the high demand for the excellent work that this company does. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the paver and stone work. When there was a mix up in the color of the artificial grass that was initially installed, they were very responsive and arranged for us to visit their supplier and select the exact grass that we wanted. We are very happy with the work Creative Outdoors did for us, and David and Kristen and their crew were very professional.
